ABOUT FULL PULL
Music and sound art, in the field of electronics and new technology, have the past few years been either technically very sophisticated or very simple and lo tech. Or even not electronic at all. We find the latter - with its notion of punk and DIY attitude - the most interesting thus it is direct in both the making and the experience. FULL PULL is therefor presenting artists who "do their thing", almost into stupidity, to the outer limit of music and art (and sometimes beoynd).
The Öresund region holds a potential for experimental music, sound and new media art in many ways. A large amount of small actors focus on electronic/experimental creativity in different perspectives in these art fields. The FULL PULL organization gather this potential to develop the scene and stimulate cross disciplinary collaborations. With the FULL PULL annual festival we open a window to the audience, present international guests and organize a meeting place for artists from all the Nordic countries.
FULL PULL will serve as a continuing project for electronic music, art and projects of a technological/sociological nature, whose aim is to encourage individuals and institutions alike, as well as strengthening collaborations and networks for the exchange of knowledge and artistic practice. The aim of the organization is to bring young Nordic artists together and present their work; to serve as a platform for experiments and collaborations between visual, spatial and audible art.
The long-term aim of the project is to stimulate collaborations between actives in different fields of art and technology as well as between different actors and countries. Furthermore, the new organization will develop knowledge and opportunities to work with technology in the convergence between music, art and performance.
